Jeremiah is an intelligent 4-year-old that really loves the water. Each time he sees a swimming pool, he goes wild and cajoles, demands and whimpers to be allowed to jump in. Fortunately, he wasn't traumatized when, at 2 years old, he almost drowned. I'm the one that worries on every occasion my child sees a body of water.

That was until Sandy, a college pal, introduced me to a pool safety alarm for children. Jeremiah was with me when I went to Sandy, whose house has a pool. My friend stated it was precisely youngsters similar to Jeremiah that triggered her to install a monitoring device in the pool.

Her own niece at one time fell into the pool, and no one noticed she had gone out. Sandy heard panicked shouts and checked, simply to view the young girl flailing her arms. She was saved, and my friend vowed nothing like that would occur once more within her own residence.

Her own pool alarm instantly sets off whenever a toddler, or pet, falls into the swimming pool without supervision. Whenever children wander to the pool area unnoticed, and slip unintentionally or are so excited they jump in, the alarm's electronic sensor will detect this, and the alarm goes off.

Sandy said you become alerted both by the primary unit and also a receiver to utilize within the home. They have been able to test the pool alarm twice, despite the fact that one time was an error in that it was her grownup sibling that had jumped in.

The moment installed, the alarm system can't become deactivated. You can't remove this to be able to stop it from sounding the alarm. Rather, there is a sleep mode to be able to keep the alarm from going off. The receiver may be mounted 200 feet from the main gadget.

In order to appease Jeremiah, Sandy asked him to go back another time for an actual swimming party. Meanwhile, he could just dangle his feet over the pool.

I hope more households got a pool safety alarm for children set up as a safety precaution, and also for parents' peace of mind.
