I realized the man was trouble. He was coming from the other way on the sidewalk. There was something with regards to the way he strolled with his hand throughout his own pocket which was not right. He was merely ten feet away. My right hand was presently at my hip, clasping the handle of my own stun baton. The minute he looked at me, I could almost read his thoughts.

I carried a stun device for some time until I discovered stun batons.

I learned that stun batons permit you to stun enemies from a secure range. I liked that.

I acquired a Streetwise 3000K extendable rechargeable stun gun baton with light over the Internet. Its free nylon holster with belt loop makes it easy lugging around along with me anywhere. A telescopic baton, this retracts to only 12.5 inches long for quick transport or storage.

My baton stun gun extends to just over 21 inches, and the grab guard stun strips running along its sides electrify one foot of the weapon so this can't be seized from me. Those vibrant electrical arcs ensure no individual would wish to or be able to. The view and also sound alone of all that crackling electrical energy is sufficient to scare anyone off.

If it doesn't, there is always the attention-grabbing 130dB alarm and the powerful LED light that helps me see the target in case it is dark and blinds him with its glare, also.

The protective rubberized finish is not hard to hold, and you can find three degrees of safety. I have to shift the safety switch to "on," and the function switch to "stun," just before pressing the trigger. I won't stun any individual inadvertently. It is rechargeable, too. No batteries to trouble with.

The person out of the blue came at me from several feet out however didn't get any closer. I shot my own stun baton out to full size, stopping him in his own tracks and dropping him. He lay on the sidewalk, twitching. I took my mobile phone out and contacted 911.
